It seems like a worthy goal.\u00a0 No, it is not! It is the dysfunction I struggle with every day. I fear I&#8217;m not doing it right. I fear I&#8217;ll be misunderstood. I fear I&#8217;ll say something and later change my mind. I fear . . .\u00a0 You get the picture. I fear that I will not be or do perfection. And I&#8217;m right. I will never be perfect. I can never say or do anything perfectly.\u00a0 Which leads me to a personal revelation.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>If something is worth doing, it is worth doing <strong>WRONG<\/strong>!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>That is the exact opposite of what most would say.\u00a0 However, for me (and maybe you?), the other phrase makes me hesitate. Makes me second guess myself. Makes me unsure I&#8217;m finished or ready. Face it. Everything is imperfect. I will never be able to do it &#8220;right,&#8221; ie perfect.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>But <strong>doing it imperfectly now is better than not doing it at all or too late<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t know how to begin . . . So I&#8217;ll just jump in . . . . Your responses will help me know how to proceed.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Perfection.
